Penny was pulled into rescue from a shelter that was set to euthanize five dogs Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
As per the surrendering owner, she lived with dogs, cats & kids; and he left her at the shelter due to “not having time”.
She’s estimated to be about 1 year old & is a small sized Labrador Retriever x Australian Cattle Dog. She is black except for a tiny white patch in the middle of her chest.
Information reported about a rescued animal is never taken as truth & proof.
Caution is exercised in all introductions, particularly in the first few weeks of going through the rescue process (vetting, spaying, transport, placement, etc.) while she’s overwhelmed.
We started fostering Penny on Saturday, August 11. She is our first foster through Barlee’s Angels Rescue Network.
